Tehran is prepared to restart atomic negotiations with Washington as long as it is treated with "respect" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and shared recent overtures had originated from go-betweens to reopen negotiations with the US government. He said Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran could not yet allow the UN nuclear inspectorate to inspect struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is walking a complex route since Iran wishes not to be perceived to be acting from a position of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out stronger militarily and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the key factor of the impasse in the earlier negotiations.

Earlier Talks Unexpectedly Concluded

The earlier sessions of discussions between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile end on 12 June when Israel, with US support, attacked Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that ended with the US president declaring the sites had been obliterated. Subsequently, European countries used their right to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran insists they have not had a substantial consequence.

Magic Solution Suggested

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the enrichment issue in previous talks, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with US participation could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to declare success since domestic enrichment would have persisted and the US could be confident that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been settled in the talks that American atomic experts could function inside Iran, but that was a reasonable assumption of the partnership suggestion. Diplomats stated on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the agreement to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Existing Status

Iranian officials declared the consortium offer was now off the table, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be resurrected in certain ways if talks resume.

The American leader last week stated he had been getting signals that Iran desired to restart talks, but confidentially Iranian officials say they are not yet getting clear proposals from America either straightforwardly or from key regional mediators, such as the Qatari government, the Egyptian leadership, the Omani authorities and Saudi Arabia. The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been charged of non-responsiveness in the face of the US president's straightforward manner, but Tehran asserts negotiations is not part of a performance.

Negotiating Standpoint

In his speech to the forum, intended to depict the US as a dominant force that exploits the idea of worldwide standards, the foreign minister declared the 12-day war revealed the dispute could not be ended by military means. He asserted the attacks began with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an unconditional call for a truce.

Iran is assured the initial Israeli attacks were carried out with total Washington understanding and coordination, making confidence hard to restore.

Dialogue Continues the Primary Answer

The foreign minister declared: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was America and the Western nations that had repeatedly tried to enforce their desires during the discussions. Dialogue can still be alive and stays the final answer to address disagreements, but its standards, guidelines and fundamentals must be respected."

"If they address to the citizens of Tehran with the tone of dignity and respect, they will receive a reply in the identical tone."

Restoration and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Iranian officials as the conflict of repair and rebuilding, Araghchi stated he was confident Iran's military capacities "have significantly improved than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been restored. We acquired multiple understandings from this engagement; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He stated: "We successfully passed this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to destroy, stays intact. The facilities and gear, if eliminated, will be rebuilt; what is essential is the determination of the Iranian people and then the unity of the country that they targeted, but failed to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have developed more powerful, more united, and more backing of the leadership and the country in the aftermath of this assault."
